Inman Aligner FAQs

The Inman Aligner is made up of 2 bows that sit on the inside and outside of the front teeth. These bows are powered by Nickel Titanium coil springs that apply a constant force to the teeth, gently pushing them into the correct position.
Most cases are completed within 6-18 weeks.
The dentist will give you a more realistic time guide on what you can expect, following your consultation.
The Inman Aligner needs to be in place for 16-18 hours a day. Dental visits will need to be every 2-3 weeks, during the course of your treatment.
The Inman Aligner may feel uncomfortable in the first few days of fitting. Most patients have little or no problem.
Speech will be affected for the first few weeks but over time most patients are able to speak with it in place.
